Who should receive first vaccines

Age and vulnerability are probably the two we'll start with, closely followed by those who come into regular contact with the aged and vulnerable?

Everyone in Rishi Sunak's constituency because they deserve it, he's saved everybody's jobs, and they are in tier 2 and they can go out and have a drink in one of N.Yorkshire's wonderful pubs.

Trump supports should get the first bleach based vaccines that have been hastily rolled out.

I would have thought that statistically vaccinating those that have the most contact with others should be first. So care workers and NHS staff then teachers. This may sound counter intuitive but hear me out. If transmission is stopped then no vulnerable folks catch covid. The quickest way to reduce infections is to vaccinate those whose jobs bring then into contact with the most people. Not sure on the maths for this but it makes sense to me.

I'm not sure if I've missed something in terms of results but there is an issue with vaccinated people being infectious whilst the virus they come in contact with is being attacked. Theoretically the Oxford vaccine should be better at reducing this but I don't think the evidence is there yet.
