An interesting list. https://voxpoliticalonline.com/2020...-really-want-to-beat-them-starve-them-of-cash
JCB - That Patrick Bamford's Grand Dad.
For me, rather than boycotting, I just think a bit about who I give my money to and it's a bit easier then. Do I want to donate to the Tory Party? No I certainly do not. So I just tend to avoid what I can. No one said it's easy to do all of them but for example I just don't shop at ASDA or Sainsburys. It's not a big deal for me because I have a Morrisons nearby. When I come to the bread aisle I try to avoid Warburtons. Sooner or later of course for whatever reason I'll buy something from the list but I just do what I can and the more I learn about these things the more I tend to think about it and adapt behaviour as necessary. If I boycotted all of them I’d never have enough bits to make a sandwich again!
Wonder if Bulkhaul and MFC will be added to the list...
Take Thatlol I misread the title and expected a list of bands who supported the Tories . How about
Iron Maiden
The Damned
Beastie Boys
Tyrells doesn't surprise me. The guy who used to run them was a nasty piece of work who left one of my friends penniless.
Ginsters though. Say it ain't so...
That’s a fair point but we all know the Tories tell populist lies to get the swing voters to vote for them and a lot of the money goes into the Tory propaganda machine.I find this a bit odd.
Surely being better than the opposition is the way to defeat them, rather than starving them of money?
By having to resort to this it shows they have nothing better to offer.
You can’t shun them all, but some would be a start. Balfour Beatty were no doubt promised a few lucrative HS2 contracts for their trouble. How can you shun Balfour Beattie as a matter of interest. Stop buying their developments?
Perhaps most of us can't do anything about some on the list. So we look at what we can do, rather than throwing our hands up and ignoring the whole thing. How can you shun Balfour Beattie as a matter of interest. Stop buying their developments?
