Nuno ruining Wolves

Cracking team last season.
Paid 30 mill for a very poor wing back Samedo. Sold Docherty for a third of that who was far better. 2 wide men starting now would struggle to get in our team. How Traore doesn’t start is baffling. Wolves fans must be pulling their hair out.

It wouldn't suprise me if he didn't have 100% say as to who's coming in. I imagine wolves is just a production line or stepping stone for Portuguese talent.

I imagine agents are throwing players at wolves. Some of the fees paid for youngsters seem pretty high.

That said you'd have to say that so far the transfer system has worked. The likes of Jota / Traore / Jimenez / Neves were picked up at very decent prices compered to value now. I wouldnt rule out these lads struggling this season kicking on and doing well.

Baby oil, not grease. After Harry Maguire "tackled" him recently he tries to slip away from people.
Seriously, the Wolves manager does seem to be trying to be too clever. Not impressed.

He wears baby oil On his body and on his shirt, so when players try and pull him back he ’slides away’.

That's hilarious.

I'd wondered if he thought he was going on Mr.Universe, or 'Muscleman UK' or something, so got oiled up like those guys do.... but then found himself on a football pitch!!

Agree with the op, mind you I’ve never thought Nuno was all he was cracked up to be.

First season he hardly played him whilst he tried to ‘coach’ him.

Second season he tried to turn him into a full back.

This season he is trying to use Adama as an impact sub.

It’s typical Nuno stupidity and I can imagine the ‘grease’ comes from him as well. It can’t be very comfortable to play like that.

Every time he comes on he creates chances so nothing wrong with his form, the lad would be better off getting away to a better club.

Always thought Nuno was a bit of a nob since his behaviour when they beat us at the Riverside on their way to promotion. They were lucky to hold out for the win and completely lost their discipline. Plenty of diving and play acting going on. When it's to that extent that has to at least partly come from the manager surely. Then celebrated as if they'd won the world cup. Fairly sure Warnock isn't a fan of his either 😂

Would love nothing more for him to struggle badly and get the sack.

I wonder if Traore thought "WTF" when he was told that he had to be covered in oil?!... or if it was more "OK, yes boss"!

Also, I wonder if they have an 'oil-man' at Wolves ... A bit like in the film 'Coming to America' (or the queen in Buckingham Palace), when they finish a dump, and clap their hands and shout "Wipers"! :ROFLMAO::poop:

I don't think any managers have total control of transfers, but with him I'd bet its even less and the pool of players that the club can sign is largely restricted to one agent, albeit probably the biggest in the game.

Its worked up to now, but its a strategy that could go badly wrong very quickly too.

Got to say that Traore is looking more and more like a circus performer. All that’s missing are the dumbells and victorian moustache.
