TBF, I think Warnock is a bit better than that. He's not just a good solid manager is he? He's the best there has been at this level. He's the man that got Notts County into the top flight, FFS.

I do wonder why he's never cracked it in the PL. Looking at our performance this season, I think a lot of the goals we've scored have not been from crisp attacking moves, but from pressuring defences into errors. Maybe PL defenders just don't crack under that pressure?
 
Looks like his win percentage is going to get better the way we have played this season! There must be an out of contract striker who could score 15 goals in this team, surely. Aaron Wilbraham is available. :unsure:
 
I noticed we have very few international/foreign players the fewest in the Championship - has NW a tendency for British born players? and that could be a disadvantage in the Premier League.

Jonny Greening's sock - AK win % is 42.2% in England with Boro, Forest, and Brum OK 46.8% with Boro only. I did like AK but he had decent funds to spend particularly from 2014-2016. For example £10m on Rhodes opposed to NW's £2.75m on Akpom.

Exactly that. Who has he taken up? Cardiff, QPR, Sheff U and Notts County?

Even Klopp would do well to keep any of them up. It's hardly like it was a Wolves or someone with massive backing.

I've always liked the guy. Says it as it is. I am so happy we have him, I just wish he was a few years younger. Realistically, he surely can't go on for many more years ☹
