Ayala

Just looking at the squad sizes and Blackburn have 30 on their roster so they have invested in a promotion push. Certainly they can weather injuries. 7 players more than our squad size.

I wonder what ever came of the big behind the scenes story his missus was alluding to about how badly he had been treated. She was threatening to spill beans at the right time. Made him look like a right trump.
Personally I was pleased to see the back of him. Injury prone and he became a bit of a liability with his hands on style. Probably not good value compared to our current CH's.

Injuries apart if he was fit and still on our books he would walk into our team.

I dont think he would, the way Dijksteel, Fry and Mcnair have played this season would make it very difficult to justify playing anyone else.

Thought he had become a bit of a liability over the last few seasons tbh, probably more down to the coaching team than anything else.

Grant Hall will struggle to get back in the team, never mind Ayala. Shotton might have a chance.

Ayala went from a decent defender into a defender who played the man and not the ball , fouling and not watching the ball .
Time will tell with him , but a couple of games in , he's injured , and rovers are losing games .
