After the game was called off last night because of a waterlogged it was moved to tonight. FA Cup 3rd qualifying round.
Bonus as I'll be off there in a bit. 400 home fans as away fans not allowed to travel due to Spartans' elite club status. 🥴

Marske's current run in the FA Cup has spanned 4 games, 12 goals scored and 0 conceded winning the 2nd round qualifying round against Consett 6 goals to nil.

Should a be a great atmosphere and a great game to boot, Marske unbeaten so far this season I believe and Spartans, even though they are a couple of leagues above haven't won a league game yet this season and could be there for the taking.

As is typical as soon as I got out of the car, walked to the ground, scanned the QR code, applied hand sanitizer, filled out track and trace details and made my way around to the uncovered side of the pitch it started to rain. Just a light shower which has passed.

Had a double header planned this week but have had to miss Guisborough v Thornaby to watch my old club against Blyth, Matty Tyman has been on fire this season and Marske look to be on a massive upward trajectory, looking forward to what should be a cracking cup tie on a perfect cup football night.

Not a bad start from Marske. Started quickly. Spartans look a little lost trying to keep the ball.

0-0 at half time. Decent half from Marske.
There is a stream on the Facebook page aswell for anybody not arsed about the dismal England game.

Finished 1-0 to Marske. Dominant performance. Blyth only having one shot on anger. That's £12,000 give or take a few quid in prize money earned so far in the FA cup this season. Massive for a club like Marske.
