Danny Rose on loan

I doubt Spurs would take around £15k a week which is our market - we couldn't afford £28k/week for Ben Gibson who seemed a very good fit fo us. So for me this goes into the very long shot bucket.

If it had been just about Tottenham getting most wage paid he'd already have been bundled off elsewhere.

Nah. Not going happen. Sorry to be cynical but this sounds like bollox. Happy to be red faced if it turned out to be true but I know I won’t be. Money talks and we haven’t got a strong voice anymore.
 
I agree it is unlikely, but it is nowhere near the impossibility painted by some.
We couldn't just get rid of players who were on big salaries (Gestede) and Tottenham are no different.
It all depends what Rose wants to do.
 
Imagine his agent is talking to try to get a move, for the next two months his only real option is the championship but surely there are plenty of sides who will be able to cover more of his wages than us.
 
Well I will believe it could happen & will until he signs for another club, that's what we love about football it has a habit of throwing up the unexpected, so whether its tripe, tomorows fish & chips paper (old school) or agents throwing it out there to get clubs interetsed I'm excited that it could happen, UTMB

And there is nothing wrong with dreaming. I used to dream that George Best would sign for us once. He very nearly did.
 
I honestly thought someone had bumped a thread from when we were in the prem.

I think we could convince him to come but I don’t think we could afford him.

Barely any West Ham fans there outside matchdays you'd be better off doing it in the pub in Brentwood or some other Essex tip.
