Who else doesn’t like wearing a face mask?

Might have to treat myself to one of these instead. The old dear in Tesco seemed happy enough driving it round.

I don’t like wearing them either, I find myself subconsciously pulling the bottom of the mask outwards to make breathing more comfortable when I am in a shop (which I know is defeating the object a bit).
I agree we should be wearing them though, every little bit of protection helps in my view.

I'm very fortunate in that I only have to really wear them when shopping due to my job...

I feel sorry for people who have to wear them for 8-10 hours a day. It's safe to say if people fidget with them like I have to on my 20 minute supermarket sweep speed run then they're just getting all the germs they breathe out on their fingers and mist in their eyes.

I'm sure they are super effective though. I've seen people claim they lower viral load and that's why our case numbers aren't turning into a wave of hospital admissions and death. It would be comical if it wasn't so desperately depressing.

I simply couldn't care less. I put it on for 2 mins paying for fuel or 20 mins in a supermarket. It's really not an issue.

You see folk removing them to pack bags at a checkout or talk on the phone. You can talk through them😂. I also laugh how people remove them dramatically when leaving a shop like they are gasping for air.... Like pulling off a resperator leaving a CS gas chamber in the armed forces (you know....you know😉)

I wouldnt fancy sitting on a train or airplane for 4-6 hours with one on. That said I've not not been on either and don't intend too.

Does it help? I really don't know and I'm pretty sceptical. I went to tesco for 3 months during lockdown without one then started wearing one when the death rate dropped off.

The fact is unless you have a genuine disability that effects breathing etc then just wear one. It's really not any hassle or the government just 'seeing us off'.

I bought a couple of fabric ones but found them quite hard to breathe with after about 15 mins.

Started getting the blue ones and it's much easier, but I don't have to wear one at work so it's still just for shopping.

Nightmare today. Had to wear respirator mask for 2 four hour sessions. Got man flu so I think the filters got clogged up with snot, twice.

Been sat in A and E since 6.30. With one on. Fcuk me, I can't wait to get it off. They moved me from a side waiting room, me thinking I'm finally being seen to, to be put in the main waiting room. It's packed. 😭😭

I’ve worn BA and Respirators for hours at a time with work for years

I don’t even notice these coverings

I don’t as it covers up my handsome features, however, needs must and it is almost second nature now and not a hardship.
