Luke Jobson trial

Aye, justice is dead. The Crown Prosecution Service are happy to accept guilty pleas on lesser charges just to avoid costly court cases and to shut a case. The price of human life diminishes daily.

Never seen any official narrative of what happened and probably never will now as there will be no court case. I've only read speculation on social media. Its hard to form an informed opinion based on that.

I'm sure if there was a case to be made for manslaughter then the CPS would pursue it but clearly there isn't. Affray is still a serious offence and they are likely to receive a 2-3 year sentence.

I was told recently what these 'lads' used to get up to every weekend of the year and it boiled my blood like lava. I wish I could write down here, but obviously can't.

Nasty ain't even close to describing these louts.

I couldn't see anything in that link to suggest that justice hasn't been served. More information would be needed to form an opinion.

That's the problem with this case, people are all over social media speculating what has or hasn't happened, however there has been very little fact/CCTV/eye witness accounts released by the press. How can all of these people had enough information to form these opinions.

M_V, where have you got your information from out of interest?

Let's say, a previous victim of these scum, is the son of a close friend of mine. They were well known to police for damn sure!

"Four men were set to stand trial accused of affray following the death of 22-year-old.
...Edwin Taha admitted affray. ... Ali Abdulmajieed, 19, also pleaded guilty to affray.

Following the two admissions of guilt, ... the prosecution would not seek to trial matters against the two remaining defendants.
The charges against Ryan Alpay, 19, Duneside, Elm Tree, Stockton and Hammad Asif, 18, of Osborne Road, Stockton, will now lie on file."

So 4 charged, 2 guilty pleas & the CPS say result.

So did they have four in the frame with two that they thought they could successfully prosecute?

They must have initially thought they could successfully prosecute all four of them otherwise they wouldn't have commenced the court proceedings surely.
Since then two have pleaded guilty and can only assume they have given further testimony to clear the other two.

Hang on a minute, a young man has died as a result of being chased and attacked. If they know that it was these 4 that chased and attacked him why is it not murder?

Also, was it a random attack? Was it hate/race related?

So many unanswered questions for that poor lad's friends and family, and some think justice has been done by a couple of the attackers likely doing 2 or 3 years, and no doubt be out after 18 months max.
