Klopp firing off at Roy Keane on MNF

Correct. Keane backtracked when challenged. Don’t think he was expecting it. Would have loved to see Pogba have a spat with him. Sadly Pogba probably can’t be arsed. Just like his football.

Keane didn’t back track at all, there were some sloppy moments at the back, Klopp made himself look at an absolute tool. So arrogant and wasn’t listening at all, can’t even take the tiniest bit of criticism. Only a few games into the season and he’s tetchy as hell, heaven forbid they have a bad run this season he’ll end up blowing a fuse.

I don't think Keane was wrong in his analysis. Liverpool had been a bit sloppy early on. It was a fair point.
Jurgen only heard half of what was said and jumped down his throat.

Klopp's not very good with criticism.
He's always been very petulant on the rare occasions that Liverpool don't do well.

Saying that, Roy Keane is a tool, so I'm not overly bothered if he gets wrongly shot down.

So what.

He has high standards and his record speaks for itself.

Obviously it does, he's clearly an excellent manager.
But that doesn't change the fact that he doesn't seem to react well to being questioned.
He spat his dummy right out last season when he was rightly criticised about his pathetic behaviour in the cups.

The whole "loveable Klopp" persona would probably disappear if they were losing constantly.

Beating Arsenal 3-1 and being referred to as being sloppy.. something what you'd expect from a BBC Tees phone in

Except he didn’t say they were sloppy just that they had a few sloppy moments at the back which was a fair point.

Keane said they "were sloppy against Leeds, sloppy in moments against Chelsea and sloppy tonight"

Klopp said that wasn't sloppy, they way they play leaves space at the back at time.. but it isn't due to lack of care or lack of organisation. It's a risk, they played well and reaped their rewards. It was a comment from an armchair manager which is exactly what Roy Keane is.

He kind of did actually. He begrudgingly admitted that Liverpool did many things well and only after Klopp had gone off air did he say "he's touchy"
