Mandatory loan to buys on players.

A good example:
Wolves signed Benik Afobe permanently for £10m after a loan in June 2018, and within days loaned him to Stoke with an obligation to buy for £12m.
Stoke then loaned him to Bristol City in the summer, and have now loaned him out again to Trabzanzpor.

Sheffield Wednesday loaned Jordan Rhodes off us, with an obligation to buy for £10m, they loaned him out to Norwich the season after because he was rubbish.

It happens with players where the club decide they're not part of their plans but can't prevent the purchase.

They might not have had a choice in paying it.
If these reports are accurate, they obviously don't think he's good enough for the Premier League, but still had to go through with the purchase.

I've no idea whether Fulham do or don't want to loan out Knockaert

I'm giving a reason, with precedent, for why they might be willing to loan him out.

Why you getting so angry for? Christ the lad has made a valid point. It’s not inconceivable that he gets loaned out. He is a championship player at the end of the day. For what it’s worth I think they will probably keep him as back up player but it’s certainly not as black and white as you have stated. The fact Cardiff are linked with him maybe means he might go. Especially if Fulham strengthen wide areas even more he’s further down the pecking order.
 
The Sky report just said Cardiff had enquired about him i.e. nothing to say Fulham want to loan him. He has played in the Premiership. Posters were surprised on here when he dropped down last Summer.

Funny how Skysports are reporting he's on the verge of signing for Forest on loan.....but of course, the experts on here know better.
