Good point?

Across our first 2 league games we have had 29 goal attempts against 20 for our opponents. Goal attempts are a good rough gauge of how will a team has played.

I think we will improve too as new signings come in. (and hopefully no first 11 players sold).

I am confident of a top half finish despite only 1 point so far.

Good point, just frustrated me with the subs we made late on. Game was there to be won as Bournemouth looked awful yet we seemed to be happy to settle for the point.

We definitely deserved at point at Watford and arguably did enough to win today. The fact we came from behind and 81st min it's a good 'point'.

We just need to start getting clean sheets. The failure you address setplay play goals is a worry. They almost went 1-2 up from a late corner and a free header.

That said the positives from 2 games out weigh the negatives. We look like we have improved and the formation is looking like it will create a few chances.

We will add one or two more (although maybe lose a couple). I think it will become more of a Warnock side with every signing. The spine seems to be taking shape.

We definitely need another CB and I'd like to see a creative No10 type (Roberts on loan would be ideal). We are expecting a young academy forward coming in so that could be exciting as an unknown. You see them come in and blow the champo away sometimes👍

I've been pretty happy so far. Clearly a clean sheet and a win are on the agenda as the longer we go without them I guess it becomes an 'issue'.

Things a definitely taking shape for the better👍

From the highlights it looked like a better performance. There's still the issue of so few goals though. Going a goal down - and it was a flukey goal, but they happen - effectively means Boro are playing for a point at best.

The failure you address setplay play goals is a worry.

Well set plays are the hardest thing to defend against. When a weak side plays a strong side, how many times have you heard the commentator say "their best chance will be from a set piece?". Basically they are levelers; they contain an element of chaos, with so many people in the box.

I thought the Watford goal was soft. Yesterday was unlucky, and I'm surprised it hasn't been given as an own goal.

Yes, I want to see us stop conceding from set pieces. However, I'm encourage that that is the only way people are finding to score against us.

Our goals attempt ratio to goals scored is worrying then?

Yes a bit - I would expect 1 goal for every 20 attempts at goal (not all on goal), same for our defending we have restricted opposition chances quite well, but should have only let in 1 league goal.

Look at BBC stats for Swansea/Brum game - only 19 goal attempts in the whole game from both teams, we had 18 yesterday. AK is tightning up Brum, probably by holding possession more, safe sideways passing etc.

We shouldn't be worried; 2 matches is too small a sample to start making statistical inferences.

I'll worry if it's still 1 from 20 after 10 matches.

Yeah after last season we need to see good performances tii ok give us some faith that we’re heading in the right direction .
Looking forward to averaging 2 points a game soon and Warnock getting back to that 50% win ratio 👍😉
