Flicking through channels earlier on, come across golden hour on now 90s (1996), macarena song. Don't know if I've made this up but can anyone remember the ravenelli song sung to the tune of macarena? Something like, we've got a player and they call him ravenelli, scores lots of goals and we've seen him on the telly. Something something belly, etc

What I DID love though was the Kitchen Stores advert on Century:p

"Ravanelli.....Ravanelli..........Ravanelli..........Ravanelli.............RAV......A......NELLL...........EEEEEEEEEEEE

He's not here mate, he's over at Kitchen Stores" etc

Is it sad that I can remember radio adverts from 24 years ago verbatim?

Also the classic booming footy commentator voice "Kitchenstore, next to the Riverside Stadium". Which is actually a lie as it was still a bit of a trek from there to the ground.

Actually used to put on the funny voice and say this when walking past Kitchenstore on the way to the match with my mates! (That's probably an even sadder admission than remembering the advert verbatim!).
 
We have a player who likes to show his belly.
When he left he took the bulbs and telly.
He wants to manage Boro Steve said not on your nelly.

Speaking of radio adverts I used to find those fake Boro crowd chants they'd play in the background to the commentary on Century radio bizarre - "Comcast, Red Army!, Comcast, Red Army!". Never heard anything like it before or since.
