Listen guys we are buggered and loads of teams are in a worse position than us . I’ll happily take mid table as the glorious days are long gone . Be satisfied we aren’t going to fold As I remember 1984 only too well .

All you want to see at the start of a season is:
- Organisation
- A Plan
- Flashes of ability displayed from the 'creative' talent

Ideally good patterns of play honed by hours on the training pitches.
Maybe, even a sign of good youth players pushing through.
Even (don't laugh) one or two free kick routines.

For the last couple of years we haven't started to show any of these things - even by the end of the season.

I know it's 'early days' and we have the lurgy and that.........but getting tired of this shambolic set up
 
As a confirmed Boro optimist (got the badge and everything) I'm really struggling to see any cause for hope at the moment.

That was terrible.
 
Well I paid 10 pounds for that shiite and it was ten pounds too much. Not doing my 'bit' again :)

But no, it was worse than that
 
Rubbish performance.
No positives beyond a lack of injuries and avoiding an inconvenient journey to Chelsea.
 
So we can't defend, can't compete and can't score... anything else?

Is it okay to be concerned? And do we still think only one or two signings is sufficient?! Gonna be a long season this one...
