Simon Clarke MP. again..

The war invective has been a Cummings tactic on Brexit from the start and is pretty distasteful at best, but plenty seem to swallow it and even worse promote it, he’s trying to sell the notion that Johnson is a man standing alone against the worst of European tyranny, surrounded by enemies both without and within when the reality is he’s a man that when confronted chooses to hide in a fridge.

Johnson’s Brexit is nether heroic nor brave and has no equivalence to the heroism or bravery shown by those that fought against the spectre of totalitarianism, bravery and heroism isn’t promising to do one thing and then choosing to do the opposite because you don’t like what you promised in the first place.

On both sides its all a bit too much emotional sound bites.

Been taken to the cleaners by Brussels - real examples please

or

the other side Brexit means selling off our NHS ( a lot of it is already sold off through PFIs, Consultants work 40% of the time in the private sector, private wards, outsourcing of non medical services, outsourcing of mental health treatments).

Brexit is fathers for justice economics. It’s a dad who wants to leave the wife, but wants full access to the kids, but will argue over every penny in the maintenance payments, while cutting off money to house bills, but wants a cut of any future sale of the family house, and will still feel hard done by 'the system'.

Our local MP is a legend, keep it up Simon, you lot are just a bunch of left wing snowflakes a total disgrace.
I've said it before. You don't need to be left leaning to be appalled by the current government. I'm apolitical and have voted Conservative more times than Labour. I don't think I'm a disgrace for being concerned about the future and wellbeing of the country I live in.

Legend? Big John may be one of the thugs and xenophobes who get off on that kind of banter ;)
