Anyone else’s Sonos playing up?

‘Can’t connect, lets fix this’
Speakers dropping out and coming back in

Tried all the usual stuff - reconnecting etc.
It does get there in the end.

Been happening for over a week now. Frustrating

My mate having similar problems.
 
It might be linked to your internet router.

A few years ago when I was with BT a couple of devices had connection issues and it was to do with the frequency of the router. When I switched to another frequency in the settings then those devices were running fine again.
 
No issues around the house at all - bedrooms Lounge etc all fine.

I will say we had a recent update and the Sonos Soundbar and two Sonos One's failed the update so sound was coming through on the Soundbar but not the one's. I manually went for an update and all been solid since.

I have 12 in the house all over the place and kept on having this issue i spoke with someone at sonos who advised to make sure at least one speaker was hardwired. It still had a issue so changed frequency like already mentioned and all was fine then decided to hardwire all into my switch on my server and never had a problem but agree the app is garbage.

I’ve found some more updates today - lets see
 
I think a heavily revised app is due in the next week or two, not before time too, the current one is decidedly average.
It's a nightmare if you have two, we have one upstairs and one down in the kitchen, having them joined together was a real problem as we wanted to have them where you can play them together and separately if we if wanted to.

Agreed, Sonos generally are great products, but the current app is awful.

Apparently the new one is a vast improvement and much easier to use.

I’m currently going through a daily process of opening and closing the App for around 20 times before it connects.

This morning tho - got it on one 💥
