35 years ago today

I was working in Aberdeen. Popped out to the car to find out how we had got on that day and heard the most moving dialogue I'd heard on live radio. Peter Jones I think was the man.

A tragedy that shouldn't have happened and could do easily have been avoided.

We drew 0-0 at QPR. We were relying on people in the crowd with radios so all we knew initially was that something had happened, then that someone had died, then it was three and by the time we got to Shepherd's Bush on the H & C Line it was in double figures. Horrific.
 
Yes i remember getting on the travel coach back to Boro and it just being silent all the way home. Cant’t believe it is so long ago RIP to the 97
 
Horrific, remember watching it unfold live on Grandstand, at first it wasn't really clear but soon became apparent that people were almost certainly dying. Thinking of all the families today.
