At a loose end this weekend?

My daughter has never flown and is flying for the first time in July, I might take her along as she's the double of me and I hate flying, might calm her nerves seeing some planes taking off.

My little boy would love this, watching the planes land and take off. However, there don't seem to be many flights on Saturday.

Looking at the Teesside Airport website:
2 departures at 6:20 am and 9.55am

3 Arrivals at 9.25am, 8.00 pm and 9.45 pm
 
Slightly bigger but we go down to Manchester Airport to do this. Saw PSG turn up couple of years ago for their CL game with Man City. Couldn't make any of the players out as it started p*ssing down.......
 
It's the fact that they're inviting you down to watch the planes come and go when there are hardly any of the passenger aircraft.

Go down there now and you'll get to see the late afternoon arrivals and departures.

Go any other day and the cafe closes before then.

Go on Saturday and you'll see 2 departures (if you're there for 6am) and 1 arrival.
 
This has got to be for a future Ben Houchen PR bit.

Make the airport look busier than it actually is, take a few photos of kiddies enjoying watching the plane(s) land

"Look, our airport is a massive success! Vote for me!"

And the usual morons will swallow it whole.
 
I think this is decent from TIA, a coffee and the kids get to see some planes take off. My son would absolutely love it.
