TS1 - cheapest post code in the whole of the UK

Technically it is correct in its geography but it does confuse the reader by quoting other facts about Middlesbrough as a Town

TS1 covers nearly all the Town from the railway line to north boundary of Albert Park - the residential properties are very much Victorian 2 up 2 down terraced houses.

On Teesside there is some good value in some reasonable places to live for example I have seen some good quality 2 bed spacious flats advertised in Guisborough with asking prices of £125k say could be bought for £120k - you are 1 mile outside the National Park and another mile and you are up in the Hills, 2 miles to the Moors. Its 4 miles to Saltburn and the Coast. The town is not quite what it was, but its not TS1.

It means the land can be bought and developed cheaper, so it may not always be that way. There's places on Teesside that weren't the nicest imho and have now been transformed from what they were.
