Also in the lakes, just off for a walk around Ulswater (not all of it). Got a bigger walk planned for tomorrow. Coming home Monday in time for the match.
 
Beer gardens and train rides today, overtime tommorow, at the match on Monday, probably another day in a beer garden Tuesday
 
I've just eaten my mini egg Easter egg. Been looking forward to it for weeks since it got put on the mantelpiece, pretty bloody disappointed that it only had 7 mini eggs inside 🤷

Just took the VW T5 out of hibernation and out for a long run to charge the slave battery. Mainly up and down the coast and a little trip to South Gare. Always try to guess how many campers etc are parked up, I went for 30 and the old trout went for 40, both wrong tops 50 and that's without the caravans down there as well. Sun is shining and Redcar is busy and the lemon top machines are working overtime.
 
Lovely afternoon out in the Ouseburn area of Newcastle today, with 2 of the grandchildren, eating ice creams and larking around.
 
At the lakes also staying in buttermere which is beautiful. Just done a long hike ticking off 5 wainwrights in one go , followed by a kayak on the lake and a nice pub tea ! Weather was great also . What bank holidays are made of
