The January transfer window has set us up nicely for a good go in the summer. We consolidated, brought in some money and maintained space within our FFP allowances. It was patently obvious that the goal of the January window was to enable a good run at next season.

They sacked 2 of the scouting team ages ago , is there anyone left to find the gems ?
Maybe that's what Newy is doing , keeping off here because he is busy finding gems for KS .

I think I am safe in writing the sales of Rogers and Crooks were not planned/budgeting fro January window sales. Which I hope means there is not financial pressure to sell in the Summer, as the planned summer sales (up to £18.5mish potential) have been done. We only sold 2 players for money that I can think of last Summer (Akpom and Bola - probably up to £13.5mish potential). My hopeful conclusion is that there is at least the budget of last Summer/Jan without compulsory sales.

STs EBs will be down from recent record levels the key is by how many - will be back to 2021/2 say? when we had finished 12th the season before.
