NON LEAGUE

Darlington at Rushall today in the National League North should be an interesting one. They could open more of a gap between them and the bottom four, crazy stuff they looked dead and buried before Watson took over.

Been to watch Spennymoor a couple of times since Spike took over. He’s a friend of mine and is doing a cracking job. Top bloke as well.

I saw one of their few games as Darlington Utd when they stuffed Thornaby in preseason friendly. It has been a weird story that seems to be about to take a new twist with the Marske situation.

At least the talk of playing at Reynolds / Darlington Arena have disappeared.
