The issue I commented on is whether Israel deserves to play in International competition, given its murder of innocent civilians.
I`m not discussing the rights or wrongs of Ukraine / Russia War.
 
Yet British companies exports to Russia friendly neighbours has dramatically increased since sanctions. Including parts that are used to make drones etc.

The whole thing is a farce. Money over lives in every step. Russia continues its actions in Ukraine because we havent cut them off at all
 
Serbia has always had positive relations with Russia.

Russia for the first country to help Serbia in 1914 when it was attacked by Austria/Hungary, in World War 2 many Serbs were anti-German and supported by USSR. In the 1990s when Serbia was fighting with Croatia, Bosnia, Kosova, Russia supported them. They both consider themselves major Slav nations and thus often under threat from Central and Western European nations who are non Slavs. They both nowadays have strong Orthodox Churches opposed to Western European Christian religion like Roman Catholicism.

I would add a lot of Western Countries are buying Russian Oil through third party countries that will do it to earn a buck.

For example crude oil goes to Turkey, who process it and sell it to say UK in a processed form labelled Turkish. China and India take a lot of Russian Oil on a 20% discount and it will come back to the UK etc in processed goods from those countries.

UEFA can’t stop the game as it’s a friendly but sure they can sanction them in other ways also any officials for this should also be black listed going forward.

I’ve been keeping an eye on Russia games and they played mainly African and other ex soviet states as well as Cuba but this is the first uefa side.

I’d be quite happy for Israel and Israeli teams to be banned from UEFA competitions, so long as it continues to be a country in Asia, but I guess that ships sailed.
