I hope we do, but no neutral would have watched that match last night and been impressed by Middlesbrough or think that we're about to go on a stunning run to overcome what's still a fairly large deficit.

We beat a bad team with an average performance in a poor match.

I don't think Deeney's said anything out of order.
 
I also think that we will miss out on the playoffs. Much as I would love the excitement (swiftly followed by the disappointment).
 
Let's be honest here. I just watched the two minutes highlight vid on YouTube, the MFC site will at some point post a ten minute version. I won't bother watching it, aside from the goal there was little worth watching in the two minute version fkk knows what they'll find to fill the extra eight minutes? The excitement of the referee injury?

It was a terrible game but one great goal and nowt else
 
Btw I was posting about his reaction to our goal he just banged on about how bad Birmingham were that the host had to step in and say but it was good goal though and he reluctantly agreed as his mate McGree scored it.

Ha, I remember the same happening at Roker Park. Him and Jack Charlton had to walk right in front of the Boro fans behind the goal to get across to their gantry. Charlton was serenaded while Thames got absolute dog’s abuse and couldn’t scuttle past quick enough.

He’s a big Birmingham fan. Probably looking at it through a fans eyes first of all like we do when we concede a goal. We always look to see what we could have done better before looking at it from opposing point of view.

I’m not a huge fan of Troy Deeney but going off what’s been said on here I doubt he said that much wrong last night.
