Kate, Princess of Wales - not seen this year.

Ok, an observation in discussion with my girlfriend.

Look at index finger length compared to pinky finger. In the motherday picture the index finger is slightly shorter than the pinky

In this historical picture the index is much much longer than the pinky about as long as the ring finger, but that doesn’t match the proportions in the Mother’s Day photos

I find it hard to believe that Mother’s Day photo hand is Kate’s
This place is amazing at times. 🤣

Honestly, I have no idea. It could be Putin’s hand for all I care 😂
I know you don’t care, you care about protecting the royal integrity. But the reality is you cannot grow a cm on a little finger in 3 months. It’s been heavily manipulated or isn’t her hand.

That didn’t answer my question Mart, have any of you had to bow and scrape for royalty?
Would depend if he's ever had an audience with the monarch really wouldn't it?

If you're knighted you have to (including some people who have achieved far more in life than just being lucky who their mum and dad were).

Our elected (or indeed unelected 🙄) leaders are expected to bow or curtsey (or whatever the hell it was Liz Truss did) to the monarch.

I mean that's the Prime Minister. Theoretically the leader of the country and the person the public has (supposedly) chosen to lead us. But having to pretend they're subservient to someone because they happened to have fallen out of the right vagina.

Does that strike you as particularly sane or reasonable behaviour in a supposed modern democracy? Because it seems utterly bonkers to me.

See about this “bow and scrape “ business.

I wonder how the ‘scrape’ bit is done? I picture some geez on his
Knees with a plastering scraper going before the royal personage scrubbing the ground to make sure it’s flat?

I believe it refers to scraping the remnants of their human skin when they do their quarterly shed and turn back into a mutant lizard.

We don’t even have to state the Pm has to pretend to be subservient. It’s a matter of record that the last monarch used the royal prerogative to block bills being allowed to go to the House of Commons.
