Boro Women do it again...5Nil

So currently we are in Women’s National League Division One North, which is the fourth tier in the English league system...promotion will take us to the third tier
 
Is WSL an aim or would we be too poorly resourced?

Imagine the Geordie success story is related to Saudi cash as investment in a women’s team helps with FFP I believe.

It’s definitely possible and it is the aim as stated when Gibson took over last year. It may take a few years but definitely achievable. Geordies went full time last year when they got promoted and the Saudia team also run the women’s side hence their great form this year

It is definitely the plan to take the team as far as they can go...but they know it will take time and investment. Gibbo is funding it himself at the moment from the sounds of things. The team do need us fans to get behind them more....they are playing really well and atmosphere at the matches is awesome
