It will be interesting to se the crowd tonight and how we react

Although if we start slow and if we concede early it could turn toxic.
 
Expecting it to be the smallest actual crowd of the season, some of the more toxic fans might stay at home to watch.

Obviously the official figure will be around 24,000+.
 
depends how we start but i sense a nervous crowd which will mean booing if we are playing bad, passing backwards etc. If we go behind then it wont be enjoyable.

Really hope we start well
 
Not really looking forward to it tbh. It's cold, damp and I've got work in the morning.

But, it's the Boro so anything could happen.

I don't miss Leadbitter but I've missed Howson and Hackney, Smith and Lenihan, Jones and Coburn as well as the others that have been absent through injury and national call ups.

We were doing ok until the injuries ripped us apart. We're missing Crooks too, could have done with his versatility lately.
 
Everyone get behind the team. Yes it’s a difficult time but over the years we have seen a lot worse, Strachen and Pulis for example.
In Michael Carrick we trust, injuries have had a massive impact this season no doubt. Big disappointment is not signing another striker in summer or January really left us light weight up front. We certainly need to address this issue in the summer. Both Ayling and Thomas have been big disappointments, certainly no better than Dijksteel or Engel. If we can score first I’m convinced the crowd will get behind the team and get them over the line. UTB ⚽️
