What does Woodgate bring to the table.

Bad times at the moment and correctly a lot of the blame aimed at Carrick.
But bearing in mind his previous disastrous spell in charge what does old wooden head actually bring to the table ???

To be fair, I think the whole backroom needs looking at, I'm not sure there's enough experience there for Carrick and I do wonder myself why woodgate is there but part of it is jobs for the boys!!

He was doing well at Bournemouth,

The problem is the squad is lightweight & we just sold the goals out of it.. & replaced with a young lad learning his game & an untested in England, punt.. the championship is a tough league..

These threads are pointless though because unless you are any of the staff or players in disguise no-one can give any sort of answer.

Agree but when we have a bad result everybody wants to point at someone to blame. I think in the last 18 hours we have seen pretty much everybody in the Club except the ticket office manageress and the retail shop manager pointed at.

Being a good player doesn’t make you a good coach. He was a brilliant defender but he can’t help organise a decent defence.
Perhaps if his boss (Carrick) stopped tinkering with said defence. This obsession with changing the full backs, pre-game or during the game, is becoming really annoying. It’s like making subs just so he can say he’s made subs.
