Man City v Brentford

Strange for UK channels not showing it, am guessing it's Broadcasting rights and the game been re-arranged, as overseas channel are showing it. Seems like it the same tomorrow night for Liverpool v Luton

It's on firestick. But aren't 7.30pm kick offs usually on Amazon Prime? Is it on that?

Shyte match anyway. Hate watching Man City. Every game the same. 90 mins of City tapping the ball around then dinking little balls into the box packed with 11 opposition players.

I love to watch them, about the only team I would pay to watch.

Haaland just scored.

City were originally pencilled in to welcome Brentford to the Etihad on December 23, but that was swiftly postponed due to their involvement in the Club World Cup, which they won for the first time in their history after a final win over Fluminense.

That run in Saudi Arabia has left them playing catch-up and the table will finally tell the full story tonight, with 13 Premier League matches to go.

However, Man City vs Brentford will not be shown live on TV in the UK.

It was announced back in July last year that the match would be postponed, meaning it was never in consideration to be a TV pick when broadcasters made their selections from the December fixtures.
As a result, the rescheduled date is not available for fans live at home either unless you got IPTV.

I remember Ferguson saying the best chance teams had of beating Man Utd was if they attacked them and not relied on breakaways. I think it’s not the same for Man City

Don't get me wrong. They are all technically quality players. I've been to watch them a few times.

But it's just predictable that teams will sit behind the ball and make it a war of attrition. Now City have got in front it may open up a but but I doubt it.

Brentford have been well organised and have been getting men behind the ball. The only chance Brentford have to score is from set pieces or a quick breakaway.

I'm not into all this wrestling in the box and it is time refs gave penalties for it.

I must agree I don’t really enjoy watching city games, and even to some respect arsenal now as they play in a similar way. It’s just attack vs defence for most of the game, with defence trying to slow the game down and waste as much time as possible.

Far better watching 2 more even teams trying to win even if the quality isn’t as high.
