Why would it?

They're not protesting the players and I'm sure that at least one of the players will have seen that there's going to be a protest over ticketing costs.

If they can't perform without a bit of chanting, that would say more about them.
 
If you want to offer support but not miss the whole match, how about walk out from your seat on 30 minutes down to the concourse and just watch the last 15 minutes of the 2nd half in the concourse, then come back up for the second half. It will be the image of people walking out en-masse that will give the biggest impact. Thats my plan anyway. I make my feelings known but dont cut my own nose off to spite my face. I can afford the increase by the way, I just think the club has handled this whole affair shockingly and something needs to be done to make sure the level of frustration actually hits home with the club.
 
A walk out is only detrimental to the team not the club. The club have already got your gate money from entering. The team need our support on the pitch. What if we go 1-0 up or 1-0 down on 29 minutes. Do we just ignore that? A slow walk to the ground from town behind an appropriate banner with hopefully a few thousand marching is far better than a couple of hundred flouncing out at 30 minutes and only impacting the players on the pitch who have no role in ticket pricing. I am unhappy at the ticket pricing, have been for a few years now but I have a choice - renew or don’t renew. I won’t be walking out at 30 minutes, I will stay and support the team.

What a load of tosh. This has nothing to do with MC or the players.

As 2 who grew up in the NE Carrick and Woodgate will be well aware of that.
 
Taking inspiration from the Bundesliga this weekend I will also be throwing bowling balls onto the pitch on 29 minutes, before walking out on 30.
 
I'm going to see if I can get myself one of those invisibility things that the military use. Or is it Harry Potter and his mates? Anyway, I'll slip it on after 30 mins and add to the empty ground perception. Then I might cause some havoc on the way home.
 
I admire and applaud those making the stance.
Sadly, you will find the club doesn’t give a fook about you or any other fan.

Best advice - don’t renew.
Then the ST price increases will be in vain because there will be no extra revenue.

I’m sure all those who want to stay and support the team will make up the difference in the next price rise.

Hi mate , SW upper fan who joins in with your songs and gets the SW upper joining in .
I am walking out , but , instead of leaving full stop consider 30 minutes out , and return on mass 2nd half to show everyone what fans can do .
A banner on return saying
‘ The Fans ARE the club , hear their voice ‘
