We defended very well in that game. I wouldn't be against 5 at the back for a while to get the team back on a more solid footing. It certainly helps engel and Clark for that matter.
Silvera and Azaz exceptional today. The whole team came away with credit.
It wouldbe nice to see some apologies frm those criticising Carricks team selection today. Seems he knows a thing or two about football, who knew?

Brilliant from the lads today, finally some luck went our way.
If only we could play that counter attacking football most weeks as we seem to be much better at it with the players available than our usual style.

Couple of observations ....
1. We are so much better when teams take the game to us, rather than us having to break another team down - it suits the players we currently have / are available
2. Did you see Carrick at the end of the match - for a bloke who shows no emotion, a beaming smile, bouncing over to the fans and the three "punch" salutes that Southgate used to do as captain. Have no doubt, the bloke is fully bought in to what we're trying to do
