Chubas level is champo at best, and to be honest he needs to play in a similiar role and a similiar system like he played under Carrick
To get to the same level he did at Boro

He is not a striker, he gets bullied if hes directly up against the centre backs, he needs to play in the 'droppy offy' role making late runs in the box
and using his mobility to beat defenders to crosses etc, he's got decent vision and passing ability as well which lends itself more to a deeper role

Could be wrong but he won't do much for Forest if they ust stick him up top or on the wings

Yes, you are wrong. Championship standard you say, yes, player of the season.
 
Forest must have signed another few hundred players this window. Even they must lose track.

I bet we could squeeze a few million out of them for Tony McAndrew and Jackie Carr and they'd be none the wiser.

Well he’s not going to be playing in the number 10 for them when they have Gibbs-White and just signed Gio Reyna. He isn’t going to play out wide over Elanga or Hudson-Odoi either. It will be a battle for the sub striker role with Chris Wood as Awoniyi is a fantastic player.

I think it's probably premature to say he's definitely not Premier League standard. He was easily the best player in the Championship last season and despite being frozen out at Ajax he's scored virtually every time he's played for them.
Obviously those leagues aren't of the same standard as the Premier League, but I think there are players who haven't looked as good in the championship as Akpom did last year and gone on to be successful in the Premier League.
