Chelsea Away Ticket Info 🎟️

I'm a general saler, obviously. I've only got 26 points. Everyone above me had already had a window to buy tickets. Those who wanted them had them, those who didn't want them hadn't bothered.
Suddenly it becomes l like something of a glamour tie, and it sells out.
It feels a BIT like everyone got two opportunities before general sale got one!! (If you see what I mean).
I totally agree with this, they should have moved through the stages much quicker.

My mate got one at half time. I have no idea how he managed to get enough signal to do this as I couldn't even send a whatsapp message at halftime.
There's a trick to this, which won't work for too much longer - if you've got full "bars" but no connectivity, change your phone settings to "prefer 3G only", and you'll come off the 4G/5G frequencies everyone is trying to use, and have a relatively acceptable 2010 experience with decent p page loads etc.

Doesn't work all the time, and 3G is getting switched off soon, but can be quite useful.

Completely agree with you.

But there was only 100 or so left before KO?
Correct, but 100 that would have been available to the quickest/keenest general salers, had they had a general sale at say 4pm yesterday. By waiting until today, general sale get no chance... for a game which hadn't been seen as 'totally desirable' before last night's result.

(I appreciate the fact that because general sale was left until today, some people in higher priority windows will have decided to wait to see the result of the home leg. (I might well have done so in their position)).

To be fair, I do agree with @Cuthbert on this.

Those who qualified for tickets had more than enough time to buy one, before last night's result.

I can't really blame those who decided to buy one because we managed to get a decent result, but it's definitely not fair when there will have been some fans, on general sale, who would've bought the tickets regardless of last night's outcome.

Yes, but had they been on general sale, those of us who were going to go regardless of whether we got stuffed in the first leg could have got them. I work in London and would have been there anyway.

By the way I think the priority points system is generally fair (why should I get priority on tickets having only been to 5 matches this year) but this definitely was an error.

Just wrote virtually the same!!

I agree with you. I have no real qualms with points system either. If we did get to Wembley I think they'd have a 10 point and even a 4 point window (or similar). As such I think we'd get tickets ahead of fans who never go to a game.
I suspect the timing of general sale probably wasn't fully considered re' the first leg. (But maybe I'm wrong).

I could've bought tickets yesterday but was waiting on the result. Tried to get on at HT and 2nd half. Whilst I got the screen on I couldn't select any tickets. My own fault - should've had more faith.

I was waiting for general sale this morning but about 9am the website said sold out. I called the ticket office to leave my details in case their was any returns. The woman I spoke to checked my account and told that because i didn't have 30 points she wouldn't be adding me to the list. I thought that was harsh - would have been general sale this morning and those with more than 30 points had an opportunity earlier.

May seem a bit harsh, but I suppose they are utilising the loyalty points system.
