Channel Migrants (Admin advisory. Contains disturbing image and repulsive views)

Its easy to say they should seek asylum in the first country they come to when your country has dozens of countries between them, you think a country that just happens to be near by should take every asylum seeker and us none?

I agree with that fully. You can't expect the closest neighbours to bare the full brunt but you can expect them to process them and then use the system to decide where they do end up. Getting on another boat until they find somewhere they prefer isn't an acceptable solution. Beggars can't be choosers etc.

They are, but when your opinion consists of sinking a boat full of people trying to improve their lives thats just sick, and thankfully judging by the reaction to that comment those comments certainly arent welcome on here
Hence why I deleted my post. Was said in the heat of the moment. You'd understand if you had a friend who was left traumatized by what she went through at the hands of an illegal immigrant but you can't because you weren't there.

How do we solve the illegal element? Serious question.

Strangely enough none of my friends or family have ever been in abusive relationships with a migrant. There’s been a small number of them been with British men who assaulted them, mentally tortured them etc.

I don’t think British men should all be considered vile abusers however, seems you could learn from that Randy.

They’re harder to control than the people in the boats (the subject of this thread)
What about the Russians? They’re just above the Chinese at the bottom of my Christmas card list. I’d gladly see them elsewhere aswell
They are not in the least harder to control. It's just that those in power have no interest in controlling them.

Not justifying anything.

Nobody has answered the question yet mind. How do you solve the illegal immigration issue?
No other option but to deter them, not to kindly escort them to shore and on to their 4 star hotel and life of (relative) luxury at our expense. What tempts them to cross countless safe havens to land on our little island in the first place? Our country is a f*cking laughing stock, and if the snowflakes on here think that makes me a racist I'll take it on the chin. Some people really need to give their heads a shake.

This tragic picture was taken on the coast between Turkey and Greece. Having reached safety in Turkey why did this child's parents put him at further risk in a crappy dingy to cross to Greece without any life jacket etc. ..... WOULD YOU !!!!

Randy has had a load of $hIt from the usual lefty bell ends on here but his post is valid and should be debated.

Why do people, supposedly needing safety, travel across all of Europe and then get into flimsy rubber dinghies to come to the UK ?

Seriously, why ?????. Greece, Italy, Spain, Germany, France.... they pass through some / all of these countries and get into a rubber dinghy to cross the Channel to come here.

Why do we house these "criminals" in hotels when ex service men are sleeping on the streets ???

My solution, quite simple.
Anyone with family from Syria ..etc with passports/ID ie. genuine refugees - put into the system to process as genuine refugees.
Single males with no passports - lock up in detention centre and deport asap.
Any illegal found in the UK - lock up in detention centre and deport asap.

Any one genuine will request asylum. If they don't / haven't they are not genuine and should be deported

Get the message out that the UK is no soft touch any more and people will think twice.

Perfectly said mate. Now put your tin hat on and wait for the pellets

You do realise that it’s not the fault of anyone but the UK government that ex service men are sleeping on the street right? Just because this is going on doesn’t mean we are unable to help anyone else.
If your views on homelessness are that strong do something about it, use your vote, put pressure on the government, do something to help. Just don’t use it to push your views on immigration, it’s two very different subjects

Also a post on sinking a boat full of people because you don’t agree with their views is anything but valid, it’s nothing but vile and should never be debated.

So what are your views on the UK accepting these 'asylum seekers' who travel through thousands of miles of 'safe land' only to pay £5k to board a dinghy (often with their babies and kids) to cross the channel to the promised land we offer them? If the comments I'm reading here are how people genuinely think then this country is f*cked. Last one out turn the lights off please.

I suspect many people living in poverty want to come to the UK, because there are jobs in the London area (prior to CoVid), many immigrants can speak some English and in London it is easy to mix in and merge in, because they are so many other immigrants. It is an International city. It is also increasingly true in some other large cities in the UK. Sometimes it is easier to seek your fortune in London coming from overseas than it is for a UK person in an economically depressed area to seek their fortune in their home area, which can breed resentment. A lot of this is due to a lack of significant positive regional development for the English regions on recent years.

Are you for real? Have you not seen what's happening? I give up, we're f*cked :(

Have you ever wondered why nobody likes you Alan? Could it perhaps be because you're an inhuman t*t? I can't fault Randy's logic though. I had a 'friend' who had a 'traumatic incident' with a vacuum cleaner in his teens. Ever since then I've. . . I mean, HE'S never spent a day not wishing that all vacuum cleaners could be sank to the bottom of the ocean because they're CLEARLY all the same. I won't even have one in the house now after finding out just what they're capable of. I just suck up all of the dust through a straw these days instead and then spit it out of the window. It's time consuming but at least I feel just that little bit safer.
