ST Sales Re-Open to Gold Card Holders

That doesn't necessarily mean that it rewards those who have put most in to the club. My son has spent thousands on away matches, official travel, catering, new kits etc. Yet is discriminated as he wasn't born earlier.
No easy way, I accept that, but I don't agree with this way at all.

I have done the same over the last few years too so understand why fans are frustrated. Easy to spend well over 2k a season following the club home and away and I will be in the same position of not being able to attend next season. Really tough to miss out but I dont really see what else the club can do, those who have been the longest will always get the priority.

I don't think the club get£ from away matches?
What would you suggest? Only other way a lottery, club never going to win.
It's not great ,I know. They are between a rock and a hard place.
Season ticket holders should get first dibs
Was meaning through the travel in going away.

But under this system there are already 6000 ticket holders who ha e renewed. That doesn't mean they have been going the longest.

Absolutely right. Its Eindhoven all over again. If there aren't enough seats to go round, someone will be disappointed and claim it should have been done another way. But other ways will just lead to complaints from the people who miss out using the alternative method.

Gold card holders (Bows head and trumpet fanfare) and then ST holders(toots horn) in order of how long they have been a ST holder.

Clap on a Thursday night for part timers in rememberance of the days they used to go.

Walk ups chased by a taser drone with an iron boot attached to it.

Indeed, but they can’t predict the future any better than we can.

They don’t need to predict the future, they can have something of a plan with the information they’ve got right now.

Here’s one off the top of my head:

Give a clear deadline for current season ticket holders.

Season ticket holders then asked to who they want to be in their match going ‘pod’ of fans.

Each ‘pod’ would then be allocated seats for games on a ballot basis.

For the games you aren’t allocated seats in the stadium, everyone in your pod will be given a link to stream the game live.

Season ticket holders who which to continue their season card service but are shielding can do so by purchasing a streaming season ticket.

I hope the stadium does reopen.

I‘m starting to think football in general won’t survive unless they get the fans back in soon.

These televised matches are soulless, people will soon tire of watching them.

We would have renewed by now if we'd known that there would be a sudden cut-off point.
2 of the season tickets have been going since 1997.

I'm more disappointed than angry as it was always going to be a risk.

Couldnt agree more, after watching a few games on tv with no crowd, I realised Without a crowd the enjoyment for me was steadily declining.

Why would they?

The club made the decision to extend the deadline indefinitely, if they’d have left it where it was thousands more would have renewed already.

but what would be the point of that if stadium capacity is limited. Some sort of rotational basis?

On what rational basis do you hand over £400 without having a clue what you’re getting when you’ve been told you don’t yet need to?
On the rationale that if you don't, availability may become limited and you may miss out. Too simple?
