ST Sales Re-Open to Gold Card Holders

Yes but only 4 days to make your mind up. I renewed last week because l could afford it. But this is far too shory a time for those who cannot. Especially with all the uncertanties about what is going to happen. Come on Boro a bit of thinking required here.

How long can they give them though? Season starts in 5 weeks and need maximum revenue through the door. They have already had since March to weigh it up.

We haven’t though have we?

We still don’t know today what we’re getting for our money.

My dad is over 50, what if he’s told to shield? Does he get a refund? Can he transfer his ticket? Does a get a stream link?

They extended the deadline indefinitely and have now just slammed the door without bringing in a deadline or giving any idea as to what their plan is.

No amount of time is really going to be long enough, everything seems fine now but if we get the second wave as expected in October/November then it will all be played without fans again. At that point you're paying £500 for a live stream unless the club decide to refund. Difficult decision to make

Unfortunately thats how a loyalty system works. Doesnt benefit me but I understand why the club wants to reward fans who have put the most money into the club

Exactly. So if no amount of time is long enough they need to act at some point don’t they? They need cash from people now even if they end up giving some of it back.

Indeed, but they can’t predict the future any better than we can.
 
It’s all so unpredictable at the moment and with local lockdowns and restrictions, some people who renew might not be able to go while others can. Not everyone lives in Teesside and there’s going to need to be some flexibility. I renewed but wouldn’t mind some sort of ballot and a digital pass when not in the ground. I don’t really think it’s fair just to close the sales without warning.
 
I hadn't renewed yet as the extended early bird deadline still hadn't been set.Surely that needs to happen.
So its possible new season card early bird customers get preference over season card holders who have yet to renew? (or not given the chance to renew.)
 
This is a strange one. I go with my sister-in-law and we are both gold card holders but we take my nieces so who is not a gold card holder so that probably means we cannot take him now.

That doesn't necessarily mean that it rewards those who have put most in to the club. My son has spent thousands on away matches, official travel, catering, new kits etc. Yet is discriminated as he wasn't born earlier.
No easy way, I accept that, but I don't agree with this way at all.
