Warnock announcement on Monday

That will empty the place....
You really think that? I had no idea who she was & I've just watched her X factor try-out; she's got a great voice.
As for Arthur , I went to one of his concerts last year( or the year before?) At Jones beach here in New York. He was one of the support bands . I thought he too was decent.

I think he does have something to prove: promotion to PL followed by staying up. He's not done that. I'd expect he'd like a crack at it.

I dont think anyone is a million miles away, Leeds, West Brom and Brentford have been a step above this season, but from 4th down I dont think they are too far ahead of the rest of the league. A good manager and a bit of organisation surprisingly take you a long way at this level. Expect Norwich to be strong from the teams coming down but I think Bournemouth and Watford will really struggle next season, as long as Brentford go up through the playoffs I think the league is absolutely wide open and would hope we can make a playoff push
Agree 100% with this. Six wins away from a play off spot this season. We've thrown away tons of points against really poor teams.
I honestly think with an experience manager and some astute signings we could be challenging for the playoffs next season.

It's not easy and everyone is in the same boat.. but we've unloaded a whole chunk of players on some silly wages for this division.

Yeah, I was meaning from the point of view of the holes in the squad and the (widely agreed) rebuild that is required. Yes, the division might be quite open but we currently have half a side Worth of players at best who could in a top half squad. The current squad finished scraping through a relegation scrap and needs a good deal of reinforcement. I think there’s no one better than Warnock to give us a chance but time is very short this summer and the rebuild may not be fully achievable, hence, the top places being a long way off as things stand. I’ll be fully behind NW if he is the manager but I’m not gonna expect miracles or whinge if they don’t happen and I would hope others don’t expect miracles or get on his back either. Hopefully we’ll all be pleasantly surprised though 😊

Great time to cut the overpaid underperforming loose.
Raise some money, free up an already freed up wage bill and letWarnock build his squad.
He has history for doing this quickly and well.
A top 6 push is likely if Gibson empowers him.
I'd say highly likely if Gibson injects some equity to help with recruitment within FFP.
And I just think he might.
Promotion is the only way he can stop having to bail the club out, reduce his guarantees and create something he could sell if he wanted to.
