Tavernier, Saville, Dijksteel, Friend, Roberts.

Tavernier man of the match by a mile. Delighted for him.
Dijksteel did well and you can't argue with an assist and the winner from Roberts.
Good header from Fletcher and with it a crucial goal.
Friend put himself on the line and stood up strong.
Howson better than Saville - has been all season.

What a great win. Massive massive relief

Agree with all that apart from I thought Saville was better than Howson today. Thought Jonny played well though and your right, for me he’s our best player all day long.

Heart racing, what a match!
I was just cursing Roberts for missing that simple ball in the box, just like in the last match after all the good work. The phone rang, and missed his goal, gettinnnn! A worthy win and finally they lived up to the badge.
Tuned into SKY and I'm sure Merse is willing the results our way, but the professional he is, staying impartial. :)

Very good performance, in the last 50 minutes especially, we were a typical Warnock team, doing the hard yards and managing to create without losing solidity, it bodes well if he stays next season.

Dijksteel and Tavernier both had probably their best games for the club, Howson and, especially, Saville worked tirelessly in midfield, regaining possession, protecting the defence but also getting forward and supporting the strikers, Fletcher took his goal well and helps us retain possession better than others in that position, Roberts added end product to undoubted skill, Spence and Johnson put in a shift on the left. Fry and Pears looked solid enough and Friend put in a Captain’s performance, winning headers and tackles and always looking to push us forward.

A point should see us ok and if Warnock stays then there is plenty of cause for optimism for the future.

Great post Mary. Can’t argue

Lovely little player.
Still has a lot to learn but he excites people, fantastic if we can keep him for another season.
Woodgate didn't do much right but getting Roberts was a masterstroke
