How is that? I've only said the same things I have said in my first post which I believe. I dont think the current approach in France is working and I think as you put it a sledgehammer approach would keep citizens safer especially in the short term
It's easy to throw big words about talking about complex societal issues it's all hogwash something needs to be done to stem this needless violence. Clearly what is being done is not enough I'm sure we can agree on that
Well if you look at the amount of atrocities committed in France are you telling me they are doing a good job? That's the evidence I need to say they are incompetent
I'm not saying all muslims are bad people and I dont believe that. I would have said the same thing about the IRA back then if I believed the issues were stemming from what was taught in the cathedrals
If there are people in there with this sort of mentality then you can probably say the vast majority there are at least in agreement. Would you stay at a church with people talking about committing atrocities and justifying it and encouraging it?
Changes need to be made to the law to keep innocent citizens protected in my view yes. If theres laws preventing the authorities keeping people safe they need to be changed
