If they were both used as defensive players, looking to break up opposition plays and cover for wide players it would be a significant improvement on the last couple of games.

Our midfield is pretty poor right now, Paddy was signed as a defensive midfielder, got to be worth a try! A change of formation and philosophy needed also. With the players available today, a more solid, defensive minded 3-4-3 for me. ……………….. Dieng ……… VDB….. Clarke…. Engel Dijk..……...

Selling Rogers AND Crooks in January and replacing neither was the end of the season. Short sighted in my view. The seeming fall out with Dieng hasn’t helped either mind!
