Oh sorry. I definitely typed two sentences. The second one was meant to say "it's when the ball is first touched by the passing player". The technology aspect is high frame-rates and one of those little knobs that move forwards and backwards one frame-at-a-time.

What exactly are we defending against that we currently can't manage? Where is the nearest starting point for such an attack? Other than the arctic wouldn't our allies be better placed to have such a shield - if the bombs reach the UK then we're pretty much screwed regardless.
