Jones made a mess of it. Wrong corner and just didn’t strike it well at all, which isn’t a great surprise coming from him. I do love him by the way 😆

I thought he was poor as well. He just ran about a lot without doing a great deal. As you say, clearly he is a good player, and it was hard for anyone to shine for us in that season, but I really wasn’t having him.

He got sent off for trying to win a free kick and a foul that wasn’t even a foul never mind a yellow. I just never thought it was as bad as everyone made it. He wanted away and nobody could see beyond that, in my honest opinion.

We did start trying to do this in pre season and early on and the fans weren’t best pleased. I expect it to be something we see next season.

I will forever maintain that Gaston was still our best player even after that.

Ah, just with you talking about Jones then saying Silvera has to start. Apologies. Agreed, Greenwood is shocking and is yet to muster up one good performance, but I’m not convinced Silvera is any better.

Whilst his assist tally was obviously brilliant, he cost us so many goals at the other end. I was happy to see him not come back and shocked Luton were stupid enough to take him. It has been no surprise to see him struggle, costing Luton goal after goal every time he managed to get on the pitch...
