Very interesting if true. I thought I'd read Marske had formally applied to the leagues to be reinstated and they were awaiting the outcome of where they will be placed?

Only to a certain extent as we have FFP, complete free for all in non league. Really sad that it's all about money even at that level

My understanding is that the business model is built around 1 man throwing his money around, exactly the same as what marske had. Spending way, way more than they make, only takes the one person to leave until it all comes crashing down

They are doing exactly what Marske did, it shouldn't be allowed to happen. The league really need to do something before they or other teams that will have to try and compete overstretch themselves and go bust

They will have to go on an almighty run to get promoted this season

Apparently Redcar have a wage bill of over £5k a week, no wonder he got sacked. Looks like they will be spending a hell of a lot more if they are bringing Boyes and others in, crazy money for the northern league, basically doing exactly what Marske did, madness

Think I read before that Stocktons ground wouldn't be suitable if they got two more promotions, something to do with health and safety, number of exits etc. If they want to make it up the leagues they defo need a new ground, perhaps they could go back and play at Thornaby's ground

Me and my son sit in the family area, two seats next to us have never been sat in for a league game for 3 seasons, although they show as sold online, bit odd

Despite the opt out form not being an online form and having to muck about trying to edit a pdf on my phone and then the instructions for where to send the form being incorrect I have successfully opted out and had my season cards posted. Happy days

Thanks for the link to the form, I'll fill that out. Not impressed having to mess about with this less than a week before the season starts. Surely they should ask if you want to opt in for the change, not the other way around
