Sunak threatens to take away rights of doctors to write sick notes

It's being debated on GMB now, some "businessman" who looks like a bad rod Stewart impersonator saying how sick notes are "bad for business" is about to argue with a qualified doctor, should be fun

    Locking Wheel nut removal..

Seriously, since you still have the original locking nut key there is a code on there, you can order a replacement from eBay or Amazon using that code and save your self a whole load of agro

    Locking Wheel nut removal..

B&Q do cheap, multi point sockets that are ideal for this. Worked a trea on my BMW. If it's the tool that has rounded off then you can get a replacement one off Amazon quite cheap. The code should be on the key itself. I've done both methods

Jacob Young community noted on X 🤣

Oh I'm sure it was factored in. CPO. A few houses and demolish them then scrap the project and sell the land to a developer. Where have I seen this before I wonder 🤔 Unless of course he needs to comission a consultancy firm to produce a £1 Million report to tell him what anyone in Redcar...

"Oh No we benefitted from a dubious ref decision, what will I do........

Was it dodgy though? Ref was a lot closer and regarded it as deliberate, I doubt he made the decision lightly. We would have been furious if he'd crocked Howson and only got a yellow or a warning. Just look at some of the dodgy challenges that put other players out of action recently and the...

    Is Hunt on glue?

Claiming crime has halved I'm the last 14 years since they recruited an extra 20,000 police. Repeat the lies and enough people will believe them

Their player catching the ball on the pitch!

I thought it was harsh to be fair. I get it's the letter of the law but it was going out anyway, it's not like he would have got any advantage from it

    Carrick

Think he wants out, now sat on the bench which is unlike him, persisting with his playing out from the back and Glover when it's clear neither are working. You have to wonder.

Nonsense lyrics- do they happen in modern music

"Well I go out somewhere, then I come home again" Not necessarily genius but definitely redundant And some people called Johnny Borrel a genius

The space shuttle that fell to earth

I watched a documentary at the space centre about when they fixed the Hubble. They had another shuttle and crew on standby in case the 1st one had a similar problem to Columbia. Not much could have been done about Columbia I suppose, at the time I wondered why they didn't dock with the ISS and...

    The 70's and Thatcher

I fully get that Thatcher and the Tories were never the right answer for the good of society. I guess what I'm asking is was the scale tipped too far the other way with unions being able to grind the country to a halt or is it a case of history being written by the victors and painting a...

    The 70's and Thatcher

Was the situation with the Trade unions really that bad that we had to vote Thatcher in to gut industry to temper them? I was born in 78 and my parents were very young so their anecdotes are a bit limited, I know the stories about the 3 day week and bins not being emptied etc but was wondering...
