    Gibson- Time to Sell Up

Genuine question as I have absolutely no idea How much would the club actually be sold for and how rich of an owner would we need, I know the big teams are worth ridiculous amounts and ran by billionaires but for a club of our size I have zero idea on any of the costs

    Gazette Player Ratings

Hackney was never a 7 and I’m not sure how Coburn is expected to track back for the goal, surely that responsibility lies with the defence and midfield

Stop with the Carrick out threads

I don’t want him out but questions do need to be asked of him and i can understand people wanting him out. Yes he hasn’t been dealt the best hand but he also continuously makes weird decisions regarding substitutions and line ups, we also were massively struggling last season defensively and...

Rome wasn’t built in a day but if our fans had been there they’d have called the whole thing off after the first 24 hours

Maybe it might of dropped a bit recently as we seem to have taken a different approach to building the club going forward ie using young and cheap lads who show potential. I’d still imagine we have a decent wage bill though, i wonder how much Carrick is on

    Pessimistic view

Carrick has definitely made some questionable decisions but I’m trying to be more optimistic with him and believe he will mould something out of these players However pessimistically it could be that he struck gold last season with the Akpom and Giles combination and it allowed us all to...

Just what I read a few months ago but you may well be correct and it could be different, although I’d imagine we are losing money monthly

What’s the difference between us and Sunderland?

How are we in the latter stage of a plan that looks like it’s only just recently been put into motion? We’ve previously relied on signing established players or loaning players out of our price range, it now seems like we are focusing on cheap young players who show potential but aren’t at the...

The 36m probably went towards signings and the running of the club, we currently operate at a £1m loss each month

“We’ve given them weeks” Do you understand it takes longer than a few weeks for players to develop from very rough around the edges but show potential to quality players?

I’m not saying we shouldn’t criticise but we can’t have it both ways, either we build slowly with untapped potential or we continue the never ending cycle of using loads of loan plans to push for promotion every year

    Kieran Scott

Would be mad to drop Hackney, Howson has been woeful since his return

What’s the difference between us and Sunderland?

We have numerous senior players, unfortunately some of them aren’t performing to the standard they previously have done. I’m sure Carrick would of loved a few more senior players to be brought in but there’s no point just bringing in anyone and we clearly lost out on our targets, which...

    Carrick will walk

Exactly this, he turned us around with a team not too different to our current one apart from Giles and Akpom. Obviously Akpom is a massive loss and so was Giles but we didn’t even own Giles so I’m not sure why some of our fans act like we sold Archer, Ramsey and Giles and Gibbo pocketed the cash

No he was correct but we didn’t and we move on. The plan is obviously long term and will probably take a few seasons to come off We may get lucky and grab someone in the next transfer window, until then I’d imagine the plan remains the same

What’s the difference between us and Sunderland?

The plan is obviously long term, the only way to get out of the championship and back into the Prem and successfully stay there is to play the long game Of course we could of done with another striker but we weren’t lucky enough to get one, just because part of the plan fails it doesn’t mean we...
