    Favourite non Boro football moment

Noting that these are all international, Leicester winning the Premier League for me. Just an almost impossible outcome

    Kieran Scott

From a financial standpoint, we are doing far, far better than breaking even. If we buy 10 £1m players, we can only lose £1m on each one and £10m in total. If we then sell one for £10m, that's breaking even (wages of course means we wouldn't actually break even, but you know what I mean). My...

Why you would sign for the Boro?

Because North Yorkshire is the biggest county in England, we're the biggest club in North Yorkshire 😉 so therefore we're geographically the biggest club in England....

Who is Boro' s fastest Player

Gone down a rabbit hole here but Bernado Silva is the slowest (non-goalkeeping) player in the Premier League. Were he able to run at his top speed all the way from a running start, he'd still only clock a 100m time of 12.2 seconds.

Who is Boro' s fastest Player

Traore was almost certainly the fastest at accelerating. I'm not sure who the fastest over 60 yards would be. Campbell is a pretty good shout. If we had signed Jade-Jones, he is currently the world's joint fastest player.

    Big head collectors..

I was working in Toys R Us in York as a 16 year old when David Batty came in, bantering with the staff about the lack of his figure...."guess it must be sold out"

    Rav to Brentford ?

I think he will be worth considerably more than £15m in the next couple of years, but it's probably the maximum we will get for him given the time left on his contract. Given we bought him for about £200,000 I think, and got one excellent and one OK season out of him, it would be another...

Ideas for a football weekend away

Lots of great suggestions. Am going to throw a curveball and suggest you go on the Eurostar to Lille (or Brussels/Paris/Amsterdam). I don't think you'll be able to take advantage of the 50% off sale, but it's just a much nicer way to travel with a great football experience at the end of it.

    Are we being left behind?

I suspect he was probably the only one on that list we were seriously in for, and a perfectly sound reason for a young player given Coventry and us have been very similar in terms of likelihood of promotion the last few years. I doubt anyone would sign for say Derby over us all other things...

    Well that was unexpected

Currently here, it's 38 degrees but dropping tomorrow thankfully. Wonderful city and inexpensive by Western European standards.

Goalkeeper signed for the U21 side

While objectively it's not a very exciting signing, my 17 year old is a (pretty decent) goalkeeper and I'd be absolutely over the moon if he signed a one year contract for the U21s. Let's all welcome Owen to the club and wish him well

    Fixture list

Looking down the fixtures it underlines that the Championship looks tougher this season

    That’s me, I’m off

Sounds absolutely superb, and not a tiny bit jealous.... You might be close enough to catch some of the Tour de France when it hits the South West

    Accommodation in Glasgow

Try the Point A hotel, it's basic but clean and I have it at £220 for 2 nights, so it won't be much more direct. The booking sites will lump 20% on unless you have discounts.
