In the mid-to late 70s Nellies used to serve Theakston's Old Peculier straight out of the barrel. Absolute nectar.

The Causeway on Stranton Green (just past the Camerons' brewery). One of the few pubs still serving hand pulled Strongarm. A decent, old fashioned pub. Food-wise not so great.
