I've watched every game this season. Also listened to every commentary due to subscribing to the clubs ifollow. For 1 i dont think I've noticed maddo being over critical of engel and 2 if he has been he deserves it. He is appalling.

Ayling is far better than Smith. A bang average full back with no pace and offers very little going forward. I would hope that we have our eye on somebody younger and better than both of them.

I think one of his good points is his strength on the ball. He's often given the ball in 50/50 situations though so it doesn't always look like that. Feel free to quote me this time next season if I'm wrong but I think he will turn out to be a top player for us.

They were our own players and it's his job to know them. School boy error.

He was awful, misidentified 3 players within the first 10 minutes and had to be corrected by Maddo.

He had a tough first 20 mins but grew 8nto the game and won some vital headers and blocked some crosses. Best he's shown for us by a long stretch.
