Steven Walker

I presume an attitude problem or getting involved in the wrong things. He did ok at MK Dons for half a season, then went to Crewe and featured a bit. Next season went to Tranmere and didn't even make the bench for a whole year. Then has sat around since the summer. Surely he'd agree to cancel his contract if he was interested in making it non-league.
Why was he left at Tranmere if he wasn’t making the bench?

Judging by his social media, he looks to have turned into some sort of plaggy gangster / roadman / whatever it is the young'ens call themselves these days.
Instagam - nothing since late April 2022 - no plaggy gangster / roadman stuff
Twitter - Football based retweets upto October 2022. more recent football/boxing likes including Tavernier & Djed Spence

June 2022 it looked like he had his own personal trainer, either recovering from injury or his own pre season looking for a move
October 2022 still got a happy birthday tweets from his sports agent

That’s because he’s deleted it all.

Sounds more like he's struggled to find a club

On 16 October 2020, Stephen Walker signed a season-long loan deal with MK Dons, returning to stadium mk for a second spell with the Buckinghamshire outfit. After appearing in twelve league games for the Dons, Walker was recalled by Middlesbrough on 13 January 2021

Two loan spells with MK Dons (League Two and League One)
Two loan spells with Crewe Alexandra (League Two and League One)
Two loan spells with Tranmere Rovers (league Two)

7 Championship appearances for Boro (Championship)

I'm surprised Hartlepool haven't snapped him up tbh.. same with Caolan Boyd-Munce

It's a very difficult age to transition, especially if your body type isn't beast , also being a striker is the hardest position on the pitch. The lad still has time, hopefully he can make it as he looked a good prospect.

Won't be the first or the last who looked like they might break into the team only to fade away, and probably end up in non-league.

Brad Fewster, Lewis Maloney, Cameron Park, Luke Williams (Playing in Iceland now apparently), just off the top of my head.

Did Luke Williams suffer from injury?

Lots sadly. His time at Hartlepool was decinated due to injuries. Had one season at Scunthorpe about 6 years ago when he had a good run of games but that was sadly all his body managed.

He is at Vikingur in Iceland now as was previously mentioned, but only on as short term deal (may even have ran out - not sure)

Shame really.. debut at 16,
2 goals in 11 appearances in the championship at 18
2 goals in 7 appearances in league 2 at 19
2 goals in 6 appearances in league 1 at 20
5 goals in 28 appearances in league 1 at 21

Makes me think of Erling Haaland.. obviously a much bigger player physically but playing his early football in Norway and Austria
I wonder how he would have faired in the championship at 16 and training under Gordon Strachan?

Stephen Walker left the club last year, I was talking to a friends son who plays for the U18's and he thinks the club paid him off but he definitely left once the season started last year.

Another one is Harry Chapman he was scoring goals in the uefa youth champions league for us now struggling at Bradford

Stacks up with the videos from June with a personal trainer and training by himself. I’m just surprised that he hasn’t been on for a team? Unless he’s picked up an injury since?

He was definitely hampered by injuries, he got picked up by mogga at Blackburn and was doing wel/progressing after he came back from injury.. only to scuppered again.
