Ross Stewart

Awful for him, after a career in the lower leagues this summer would have likely given him his only massive contract. Players never come back from that the same

Just lost Cory Evens for the season.

Losing Stewart for a season would be a massive blow. I'm not wishing an injury on anyone. Yet a promotion rival losing a best player is clearly in our interests.

I have a bit of time for Stewart. He's come through the hard way with lower league clubs. Also on around 5k a week at Sunderland (not even sure it's that). So deserves a big move or payrise. This will prevent this in the short to mid term.

The cheat?

Zero sympathy from me.. and a massive dent for Sunderland‘a season, which I’m all for.

He won’t be winking into the camera tonight like he did on Sunday will he.
Hardly a cheat, felt contact and went down. Imagine every other player in our side would do the same in that position.

As a football fan you can’t take any satisfaction from a player getting a serious injury

I think he dived. Don’t believe there was enough contact to send him tumbling to the floor like a sack of **** like he did.

He conned the ref. Cheating in my book. That’s why he looked at the camera and winked after he did it. What goes around comes around.

If he’s out for the season then it helps us.
